"The deity itself (or prophecy) itself is information about the future or unknown gods, usually through specific inquiries, usually through institutions that affect the media" (Aune). For the ancient Greeks, the gods were intermediaries between humans and G-ds. People ask Oracle about future problems and ask for advice. The answer to Oracles is always ambiguous, so the answer is never wrong. Regardless of the ambiguity of the answer, the ancient Greeks were still highly dependent on the gods to make important life decisions.
The most common way the prophecies are told is from God, the most famous one is Delphi's Oracle. Even in ancient times, people came from elsewhere in Greece to see Oracle, and the latter will talk about Apollo's prophecies. Over time, Oracle 's spirit changed from host to host, and ultimately to America. Oracle predicts the mission of Half God and talks about the first big prophecy warning of the destruction of Olympus. In the end, this prophecy cursed Hades to Oracle and decided to lock her in the present body. Even after death, Oracle will propose to the half-god of a semi-blood camp until it replaces Rachel Elizabeth Dale who finally talked about the great prophecy called "seven prophecies". "
Fortune telling is a superstition. Its roots can be traced back to ancient times. In Greek ancient Delphi there is a shrine maiden / god named Pythias. Nostradamus is the renowned French prophet of the Renaissance. A common theme in the prediction of Pythias and Nostradamus (and other "prophets" or fortune tellers) is that their prophecies are told in an ambiguous, often self-contained manner and there is no specific appointment date. Some immoral fortune-tellers use fortune-telling as the forefront of fraud traditionally known as bujo or egg cursing fraud. Fortune tellers simply use her cool reading skills to discover the real problem of the client rather than simply seeking recreation; or a gambler complaining about bad luck. The fortune tells the trademark that they are victims of the curse, but the curse can cast a spell to remove the curse.
