Domestic violence, also known as close violence with partners, can be categorized in the form of speech, psychological, physical or sexual abuse by the victim's partner. Domestic violence includes all sex, age, race, culture and sexual orientation. However, women are the victims of the maximum number of domestic violence incidents. University of Michigan defines domestic violence by playing two roles in violent cases such as "survivor" and "abuse". Survivors are victims of violence and abusers are perpetrators of violence. Abusers want domestic violence to control their partners so that they can get whatever they want from their partners.
