Mass media is a tool commonly used in our society to communicate with the public. Mass media has many platforms. Today we have newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, and internet. Mass media also has a big impact on our social outlook, specific topics, education and entertainment.

Mass media directly influences contemporary culture. This is especially true in the United States where most mass media are being sent out. The emotions and attitudes of our society are influenced by information conveyed through the mass media channel. Mass media and advertising will influence our behavior, mentality, and value. We are in the place where mass media creates and reflects our culture - intermediate culture. Looking back on the history of our society, we are not always influenced by mass media. This is mainly because our current media saturation does not always exist. Television is the most popular mass media, not so important in the 1960s and 1970s. Even one of the fortunate families you have television, there are only three main channels. In addition, several public broadcasting and independent radio stations are in operation.
