The Mars Exploration Rover Mission

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) launched two similar dual robot rovers, Spirit and Opportunity Mars (NASA 2012), on June 10 and July 7, 2003, respectively. The spirit and opportunity landed on the Gussek crater on January 4, 2004, and landed on Meridiani Plantum (NASA 2012) on January 25, 2004.
