Wow ... If you read the back of this book, you may feel that The Marrow Thieves is a typical YA schizophrenia with just the hero. You are wrong. The speculative aspect of Dimaline's novel is not particularly important. With regard to the cultures of the majority of the population, the abuse and the loss of murder, and the physical story of survival and resilience are eye-catching. This is a powerful and painful book, it will not get irritated. It is slower than YA's many other products.

The bone marrow thief looks like a literary Trojan horse. At first glance it may only be misunderstood in the foresightful young adult story. But as I began to understand these roles, I understood that The Marrow Thieves is a fable of a residential school. This is a quiet massacre story that indigenous peoples (and their supporters) are being criticized for being talking and being harassed. This is a story of community strife, a wonderful story about hope and love. This is the reality of finding laughter, love, family and adventure in pain and oppression.

Readers of The Marrow Thieves will recognize the return of the big black dogs that can enter the traditional Métis story, Rogarou creatures, people living near the road in various ways. According to older Minerva, Rogarou first appeared in The Marrow Thieves. "We were born out of the story of indigenous women who were missing and murdered, my grandmother told Logaro that we can not be on the road." When thinking about oil, gas and mining, Dimaline I have a responsibility as Metis. The story manager said, "In order to solve the view of her community." When we are not in the land, when there is no hunting or ceremony, when there is no traditional land use, resource mining companies need a pipeline There is a high possibility of obtaining permission, "she said.

Cherie Dimaline, creator of Marrow Thieves, has been faithful to her role as Métis "Story Lecturer" and has earned a high reputation internationally.

In the face of heavy rain, food shortage, and a chaotic background of husky raccoons, The Marrow Thieves is centered around the young young Frenchie who recruits young people from the government. Recruitment staff adopted by the Canadian Oneirology government must bring Inuit, Metis and Aboriginal personnel to a bone marrow harvesting factory based in the boarding school. Indigenous leaders tried to negotiate with the governor of the capital but cooperation with the government failed. Like the indigenous character most of the "bone thief", French has found himself a nomad who is separated from his family, including the community and his brother Mitch.
