Typhoid fever is a bacterial disease transmitted by lice, fleas and rodents. There are two specific types of typhoid: epidemic (also known as mouse typhoid) and two epidemic typhoid. (Davis, 2011) "Typhoid is endemic in many parts of the world and epidemics are often associated with war, natural disasters, or causes of congestion and poverty" (Kavanagh & Borton, 2010) Medical history, physical examination and some exams (PCR, histologic staining) were diagnosed.

Infectious typhoid is caused by the bacterium Rickettsia Prowazekii; it comes from scorpions. Salmonella typhus is caused by plague rickettsia bacteria, rat fleas. Jungle typhus is caused by bacteria of Orientia Tsutsugamushi harvested from humans and rodents. Queensland sea cucumber is caused by bacteria of the genus Rickettsia Australis. During the retreat of Napoleon from Moscow in 1812, more French soldiers died of typhoid instead of being killed by Russians. Between 1816 and 1819, without summer, a big epidemic occurred in Ireland, an estimated 100,000 Irish men were killed. This rash appeared again in the late 1830's and appeared during the Irish famine between 1846 and 1849. It spread to the UK and called it "heat of Ireland", its toxicity attracted people's attention. It kills all people of the social class as it is inevitable with endemic diseases, but it is particularly hit hard at lower or "unwashed" social class.

During the Typhus epidemic in 1847, 863 Irish immigrants died in typhus in a hot cottage built in Toronto Hospital in the northwest corner of King Street and John Street. This plague also killed Toronto's first bishop Michael Bauer, but provided care and service to Irish immigrants who escaped from famine. The cathedral fire on April 7, 1849 destroyed the market square, the market square in the north of the St. Lawrence Market, and the first St. James Cathedral and a part of Toronto's first city hall. Toronto has a fire brigade and two fire departments, but the troops failed to stop the fire, many companies failed. Then rebuild for a while
