The Malfunctioning Society

William Golding 's 1954 novel "The Lord of the Flies" explores and analyzes the nature of human beings. The novel tells the group of boys trapped in the island and does not supervise adults after an airplane accident. In the beginning, the boy chose another boy, Ralph, as the chief. Ralph was not in harmony with another boy named Jack who was leading a designated hunter among them. Boys gradually fell from civilization to barbarism. Jack led some boys to a violent barbaric class and allowed Ralph to try to save the functioning civilization concept.

Anti-utopia is somewhat terrified or dysfunctional society. Usually they are in the literature. It contains famous strange literary works in 1984. This expresses the government as both totalitarian and aggressive society. Anti-utopian literature often emphasizes social concerns and shows the potential impact of specific behaviors or trends to the reader.

Social problems are not the result of social intrinsic failure, but rather the result of the definition process where certain conditions are selected and identified as social problems. There is no social problem unless social recognition recognizes social problems. (Blumer 1971, p. 301). The abuse of the elderly and other forms of violent in-home exchanges are influenced by selective negligence, and choosing to ignore those feeling uneasy has been chosen (Steinmetz 1988, p. 3).
