Presence in the UK in India was originally a commercial company. The British East India Company was a trade organization that was active in the subcontinent from the beginning of the 17th century and by the middle of the 18th century it transformed India into a historian Philipp J. Stern. As the modern proverb says, in the nineteenth century Britain saw the colonial peak. Britain encountered in the UK is not a unified country, it is a patchwork of the principality, colonial control is gradually achieved through treaties and alliances. England's rule of India changed dramatically in the mid-nineteenth century. In the first half of the century, the British East India Company effectively used British India as its territory, but in 1857 the armed rebellion of Indian soldiers serving under the British flag changed everything .
From the end of the eighteenth century to the middle of the nineteenth century, a wide area of India was consolidated by the East India Company of the British Empire. Discontent with company rules triggered the Indian rebellion in 1857, after which the British state of India was directly managed by the British royal family and witnessed the rapid development of infrastructure, economic downturn and famine. In the first half of the 20th century, a nationwide struggle for independence began, major parties took part in the Indian National Assembly, and then other organizations also participated. After the British state was divided into the dominant areas of India and Pakistan, the Indian subcontinent became independent from England in 1947, and the Kingdom State joined one of the new states.
