Mr. Christian Zacharias who was a conductor attended the conference and Martin Chalifour was the lead conductor of Los Angeles Phil and Bach violinist.

This week is a classic and unusual concert. The Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra is a director of former music director Alfred Wallenstein, and his legendary (and short-lived) pianist Julius Katchen is in Brahms. No performance recorded at the Hollywood Amphitheater on August 10, 1965 was done, and it was lost for decades until it was rebroadcasted.
