Even President Obama demanded establishing a nationwide electronic health record system by the end of this year. However, as technology advances, these improvements not only continue to simplify health care but also break the role of technology in the field of health care records.

The next timeline will take a closer look at the history of medical informatics from the beginning to the present. It also reveals several influential people who can help turn health information science into one of the industry's most important areas.

Nursing informatics became official subdivision of medical informatics in the 1980s. in his 80's! As a third grader high school student, you have to think that this is a long time ago, but for many people in the healthcare field this seems to be the latest. For nursing informatics, the 1980s was a breakthrough in growth over the decade that spurred it into today's occupation. In the United States, the Tokyo Metropolitan Care Informatics Round Table (CARING) is a group of nurses who focused on the development of healthcare information technology. It was compiled in 1982. After that, in 1992 the American Nursing Information Informatics Association (ANIA) was founded and merged with CARING in 2010.

Nursing informatics has almost the same length as medical or medical informatics but it grew in the 1980s due to the formation of the CARING metropolitan area round table which is a group of nurses who emphasized progress. Medical information technology Even in the 1980s, an official American organization was established, special publications were published, and internationally recognized in the field of nursing informatics. This is a rapid growth period. In the 1990s, nursing organizations in the United States and Canada developed and defined occupational roles of nurses involved in informatics.

At the turn of the century, the government began using nursing informatics to help form healthcare reforms. Today, many organizations represent nursing informatics. Many people are recognized under a single organization representing over 30 independent nursing informatics groups, Alliance for Nursing Informatics, at all levels of medical function.
