The Lives of Immigrants: Now and Then

Over the years, the Immigration Bureau has undergone major changes. The system of immigration experience has evolved into a simpler system for decades. Immigrant influence is still subject to fierce national debate, but there are no doubt that the large number of immigrants currently living in the US are big challenges. More than half of the immigrants and their American-born children lived near the poverty line in 1970, and one-third did not have health insurance. While the current economic expansion may induce some to ignore these facts, the cost of immigration may become evident in the next recession. None of the countries tried to include more than 28 million new immigrants into society, except that the immigrants' socio-economic status is low. Furthermore, the Census Bureau will arrive from 11 million to 12 million immigrants over the next 10 years without changing the immigration policy. Therefore, as the current trend of allowing immigration continues, the impact of immigrants will continue to increase.
