Raymond Carver 's unique and wonderful writing style left a lasting and surprising effect in the history of short stories. Raymond Carver left a long-term influence, but his life is the opposite. Like Raymond Carver's famous victorious story, his life is short. Raymond Carver was born on May 25, 1938 in a mill town along the Columbia River in Clatska, Oregon. Carver grew up in Yakima, Washington State. Carver has three members, his small family, his mother, his father and brother.
