Originally named Tommaso Cassai, Masaccio was born in San Giovanni Valdarno near Florence on 21 December 1401. Masaccio was the first painter who used Maria del Carmine's linear and aerial view at his mural (Brancacci church in St. Peter's of Florence's Santa Claus church). Masaccio, one of the most famous tribute money in these scenes, invested in the statues of Christ and the apostles with new dignity, memorials and exquisiteness.
