The Life of Constantine Cavafy

Konstantin Cavafy was born in Alexandria on April 29, 1863 and died of laryngeal cancer in 1933. Two years after my father died in 1872, Cavafee moved to England and stayed in Egypt for the following six years. In 1882, they moved to Constantinople during the rebellion against Egypt in the UK and returned to Alexandria in 1885, where they spent the rest of his life.
