Alice Walker is an American writer, novelist, short story writer, poet and political activist. Born on 9th February 1944 in Eatonton, Georgia, she was the youngest child at her age of eight. Her parents, tenants and maids have little money. At the age of eight, her parents could not take him to the doctor for a week, so her right eye was injured and partially blinded. Because of blindness she was able to be teased or bullied by her classmates; she became lonely and began to escape everyday absurd things.
