The Life and Writing of E.B. White

On July 11, 1899, Elven Brooks White was born in Vernon Hill, New York. His father is a piano manufacturer Samuel Tilly White. He married Jesse Hart White. White is the youngest of the six children. His father grew up from a humble beginning and became the president of Horace Waters and Company (a piano company). White father was engaged in music, so he grew up in music. White started playing the piano from a young age, but his true enthusiasm was written even in childhood.
