Life and behavior of Angela Davis I decided to write this research paper on Angela Davis because she has made countless contributions to the promotion of citizenship and the women's rights movement. ANGELA YVONNE DAVIS has been active in numerous organizations challenging prison-related oppression for more than four decades. Davis, born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1944, studied at Sorbonne University Brandeis and studied at the Goethe Laboratory at Herbert Marcuse.
