The Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Due to racial separation and racial discrimination in society, black baseball players were forced to unite themselves. In 1920, the Black Baseball League showcased their talented players including Satchel Paige, Roy Campanella and Sam Jetro. The players mentioned by these players and more players are the same as or more than the major player in white player. Unfortunately, due to their skin color, the Black League is barely respected by white players and scouts. The talent of the black league is very high, but they are in the opposite situation.

This is one of many contemporary examples of systemic cheating that excessively affects the poor and non-ferrous society. As we did in January every year, when we talk about Dr. Martin Luther King's legacy, we find quotes explaining the non-violence and peace of the king of love in the face of hatred and racial discrimination. As we wrote when David Bowie died, we seem to be developing a personal relationship with a strong idol. But what is his continued struggle against Dr. King's behaviorism and white supremacy? Racism, hatred, injustice opposed by Dr. King is not a distant dream we have overcome or did not overcome.

This week, we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King's life and heritage. We should celebrate the lasting influence he has given to social and environmental justice, while respecting the impact of Dr. King on American society. King once said that "unfairness is a threat to justice everywhere" everywhere. Now, more than ever, we have to correct climate change, one of the biggest environmental injustices ever unprecedented. Combustion of fossil fuels causes rapid global warming of the earth's surface which poses a direct threat to the environment and human health. In fact, the US National Climate Assessment recently stated that climate change is detrimental to the health of many Americans and stated that people in colored communities are particularly vulnerable to these effects. The imbalanced impact of climate change on the health of vulnerable people and communities is largely due to harmful pollution afflicting the environment in which they live.

Today, we respect the heritage of Dr. Martin Luther King, who is committed to strengthening the color community and fighting for the rights of the working people. Dr. King has special connection with our work as a team star. Remember that in his last days he helped medical professionals in Memphis, Tennessee, for a strike seeking dignity and respect in the workplace. Dr. King and his brave sanitary worker can teach us valuable lessons and why our sports are more important than ever before.
