Frank · R · Stockton posted a series of short stories in "The Century" magazine published in 1882. "Mr. or Tiger?" Due to problems that can not be resolved, English is entered as a fable, shorthand, or symbol. The short story will be held in the land that is governed by a semi-barbaric king. Some of the thought of the king is progressive, but others can make people suffer. One of the innovations of the King is the use of a trial trial as an agent of the justice of poetry through the opportunity to decide whether it is guilty or not guilty. Criminal suspects are brought to public places and must choose one of the two doors. On the other side of the door there are women who think the king is suitable for the accused; the other is a heavily hungry tiger.
