Introduction The Jewish cemetery in Victoria, British Columbia is at the corner of Cedar Hill Road and Fernwood. This historic cemetery is still active in the Jewish community. It was dedicated in 1860 and was first buried on March 20, 1861. The burial was Murris Price of the homicide victim. In 2012, the cemetery became a victim of vandalism, and several tombstones were destroyed. It is because individuals should ask for approval before visiting the closed cemetery.

Emily Carr, born in Victoria, British Columbia, is one of the most famous artists in Canada, a landscape painter and a modernist. As the most important British Columbian artist of her generation, she is best known for her attention to Aborigines in British Columbia and Totem sculptures in a tropical rainforest on Vancouver Island. Carr's work was originally exhibited in Canada's West Bank art, indigenous people and contemporary art exhibition in Canada's National Gallery in 1927 and was handed over to the wider Canadian art world at the beginning. Through this exhibition she was introduced to the work of seven teams and established an important friendship with Lauren Harris who had a great influence on her work.
