In the story of Raymond Carver 'Cathedral' there are three main characters including wife, husband and Robert. My husband thought that his nephew was going to his house to steal his wife. At the beginning of the story, her husband licked his scorpion, but later he knew that the blind was only his wife's friend and later became a friend of his nephew. My husband refused the scorpion's idea at his house. "My nephew of my family is not what I expected" (32). This shows that my husband only wants to give my house my wife, myself, and both. At this point in the story, I think he's like a man fighting for the territory of his family. This space is going to be invaded by predators who will stay in his house. My husband has an animal type of thinking, defends our partners and fights with other men who are considered enemies.
