Constructing a wind turbine at the edge of Sheffield In November 2003, Sheffield City Council announced that it would look for a wind farm at the edge of Sheffield. The place is located in the wasteland next to the peak district and it is very windy. There will be 15 wind turbines. I am hoping that in the end Sheffield will be able to produce all its own electricity and even have the remaining power available for sale. So it should be a wind farm at the edge of Sheffield. What is wind power
Especially remarkable in all GE projects. Me and my team built a wind turbine monitoring system for a special project. Using Raspberry Pi and various sensors, we provided the wind turbine data to GE's first industrial cloud, Predix. Then I built a web application using the industrial platform and visualized and watched warnings. Ultimately, various teams working on block chain related projects, such as using Hyperledger for jet engine maintenance records, and identity proof "Service chain as a service" constructed based on AWS. Through these teams and other teams, I conveyed concepts of best practices and architecture concerning Smart Contract and Ethereum development. (Note: In large organizations implementing the back end of the block chain, the color of Hyperledger will change, but Hyperledger will not be displayed due to the consensus of the community.
The latest generations of turbines themselves are benefiting from IoT technology, but the wind is facing a similar integration problem. GE 's turbine at the forefront of the wind farm can inform people behind the gust of wind. A relatively new software program also processes the data collected by the turbine sensor, suggests the best angle to produce more power, and increases wind farm production by up to 5%.
Unlike other power generation technologies, wind turbines do not use combustion to generate electricity. Wind turbines are relatively low risk, such as lubricating oils, hydraulic fluids, insulating oils. The wind turbine eventually can operate independently and does not require continuous monitoring. There is no danger to anyone as long as it is correctly installed. Surface, water or soil contamination is unlikely
