The Iran Hostage Crisis

In the latter half of the 20th century it was a very turbulent era in American history. In 1976, Jimmy Carter was elected president, and he had many goals to help improve the United States. However, on 4th November 1979, a radical group of students seized the American embassy in Tehran, Iran. This completely changed the process of the relationship between American history and the Middle East. This crisis had a major impact on the United States. It caused an energy crisis that led to a recession in 1979. The hostage crisis in Iran also caused political influence on President Carter.

This is the beginning of the Iranian hostage crisis. Immediately after the revolution, American diplomats and citizens became hostages in Iran. This is terrible and stressful for all of us in the US. We are all concerned about our compatriots and are deeply concerned about their safety and well-being. Meanwhile, something happened at our public school. My best friend is still my best friend. However, among older children, I can see that my father is from Iran. It is time for harassment and bullying to begin. My parents became American citizens, but that is okay. I am the only (half or whole) Middle Eastern child at school, and I guess I can easily goal. There is a nasty note in my room. They laughed at my name and skin color. I participated in several games. One day, I clearly remember that older children spit. In many ways, as in yesterday, everyone feels old.
