The number of days, months and years before and after the Internet has passed, but we did not notice them. I live in such a busy world, we are not always conscious of our change of our lives. Twenty years ago, if someone said that they could buy groceries with computers, pay bills, buy stocks or even buy cars, too many SF TVs for this crazy accusation I might laugh at you. But as next generation children grow, it may be interesting that people are still sending letters to each other via the post office.
Modern communication tools, especially those equipped with the Internet, especially the Internet, have had a great impact on our lives. Today, technology intersects our lives in a variety of ways and generally accelerates the pace of development around us. More importantly, it affects the flow of ideas and information. Basically, our values are a function of the influence and experience we face. Previous generations were largely restricted by their family and direct community influence, especially in the majority of their growth. Hence, their values, their self-image, the concept of right and wrong, and their perception of the world largely reflect their familiar environment. Information and new ideas go very slowly. It will take several years for the revolution to gain momentum. Probably many people will disappear without reaching the marginal mass.
Due to the rapid technological change and its influence on our lives, the Internet obviously is no longer a clear function in the lives of children and adolescents. According to our research, we have now discovered another generation and labeled "iGeneration" as "i". It uses the type of mobile technology foreseen by children and teenagers (iPhone, iPod, Wii, iTunes) and its mostly personalized way. My colleagues and I believe that the new generation will include children and young people born in the new millennium, their technology and media use, love for electronic communication, and the need for multitasking.
