The Integration of Literature and Mathematics in the Classroom

2023-02-11 11:57:30

Since the 19th century, students learned to read, write and learn math, but at the same time they were able to learn them. How about this. Teachers are beginning to discover more ways to combine literature and mathematics by combining changes in classroom environments, teaching methods, techniques and evaluation methods. Before integrating literature into mathematics classes, in traditional mathematics courses teachers need to explain mathematical examples in the classroom, take notes and repeat the same procedure for homework problems (Shults, 2008).

Today, STEM classrooms have many examples of excellent geographical history. Even mathematical teachers are experimenting with geographical treasures (integration of treasure into classroom / mathematics in mathematics, geocaching and fun things). The possibilities of combining geocaching in a fun and easy way are infinite and work well with the PBL science curriculum. Geocaching encourages STEM students of all ages and backgrounds to open up a completely new real world experience and become a citizen scientist. The best evidence of geography education success in education is the response of students. One student said that Dr. Polly's Geography Tibetan training program "takes courses of expected science every day as a course". This is the whole contents of the moving STEM discipline.

Mathematics proficiency is the basic skill required for successful operation of mathematics. They are indispensable to learning and require the teacher to apply in the classroom so that students can use them in their daily lives and daily life outside the classroom (NESA, 2017). This week, in the EDMA 241 lecture and tutorial, I explained the importance of stimulating mathematical thinking, various kinds of problems and problem solving, and what kind of problem the teacher uses. Given what is being covered, it is clear that the ability of mathematics is necessary in every aspect. Teachers use the above image effectively to guide questions (Fusco, 2013).

I studied integrating writing into math lessons. I think that writing can improve problem solving skills. In the 2013 study at Texas A & M University, researchers said, "By writing in mathematics classes, students' mathematical cognitive abilities are greatly improved and ability to solve problems can be improved" . There are four reasons why you need to use lighting as a communication method in math classroom: you need to find a good way to integrate lighting in lesson. Language problems, textbook creation etc. I decided what I found best, and my students will write about the problems we practice in the class. This led to my overall question on this year's research project.
