Influence of Others In Filostrato of Giovanni Boccaccio, influence plays an important role in that one person influences others in various ways. The influence of one person on another person may be strong or bad. The bad influence of those who have not heard anything that people are doing or the strong influence of listening to what someone is saying, or what someone is saying. Pandaro is Trolio's best friend and Criseida's cousin, both of which have a strong influence, so he tells them about him and uses his advice without any doubt.
Boccaccio, Giovanni (1313-1375) Italian humanist, writer Boccaccio is the second closest among the three "great thinkers" of Italian humanism in the 14th century, second only to Dante Alighieri and Petrarch. He is a poet, a scientist, and most importantly, he is a creator of a short story type of modern times. The ancestor of Boccaccio was a farmer, but his father became a wealthy businessman in Florence just before his son was born. Boccaccio's mother is unknown. Although there are reports that the author's place of birth was Paris, most historians believe that it is Florence or Certaldo (Tuscany). Born illegally, Boccaccio was recognized by his father who was officially a rude man. I am hoping that Giovanni will enter the business world and his father sent to Naples to study this occupation. But it was obvious that the boy was so hated by the commercial business, not tracing his father's footsteps soon.
Giovanni Boccaccio was born in Certaldo or Florence in June or July 1313 BC, was born by an unknown mother and wealthy businessman in Florence Boccaccino di Chellino. In 1326 (13 years old), his father was appointed head of Naples branch of his bank and the family moved to Naples. His father intended to make him study the banking industry, but Boccaccio persuaded his father to allow him to study the law. In his school days, he was married to his daughter, influenced by France of the aristocratic Robert Anjou (aka Robert Wise, 1309 - 1343 the king of Naples, and the guardian of generous art).
