The Influence of Modernism of New Theories of the Self

In this paper, we try to explore the influence of new self theory on modernism, with reference to Harriet Franc's life and death and the relevant theory of that era. The purpose of this work is to achieve this by talking about memory, spiritual and physical dualism, and the ultimate assertion of identity. Finally, the conclusion emphasizes the points raised in the text. Pete A. Y. Gunter 's comment on French psychologist Pierre Janet can be used to explain the subject of regaining memory with Harriet Frean' s life and death.

Self-leadership theory is based on self-influence, self-management, and self-management theory. These theories have recently gained great popularity in modern organizations and are increasing the possibility of application. Briefly, self-leadership is a process by which people can achieve self-directionality and self-motivation necessary for action and performance (Manz & Neck, 1999). Self-directed is rooted in social learning theory (Bandura, 1977) and social cognitive theory (Bandura, 1986). Social learning theory explains how people influence their perception, motivation, and behavior (Yun, 2006). On the other hand, social cognitive theory explains the continuous interaction between people and the environment (Davidson, 2000) and the result of action is information and means of motivation (Bandura, 1986).
