The Influence of Grace Jones, Tyler the Creator, and Erykah badu on my Teenage Self

I was crazy about a lot of things, changed to hope by thinking of music. In frustrating years, I was less conscious of bullying; I found 3 truly amazing and even influential creative artists. We are Grace Jones, Taylor, Creator and Erykah badu. You may wonder why this happened to her. This is a small town, I know that the people there are different. Let's think about yourself, express, think, outside the box. I do not always live in Ahoski, North Carolina State, I am from Long Island, New York, parents from the Caribbean islands.

Erykah Badu's music has become a staple food of my family. I have met her at a concert and have been following her career for the past 20 years. I issued several statements that were not balanced to me on the way, but I attributed it to an objection. My aunt dismissed it because there was a heavy moment that I could not understand. I am in a spiritual journey - awakening. Experience typical symptoms such as confusion, depression, isolation. I will shed off my old self, think deeper, and reconstruct my core value and beliefs. After reading Badu's "Hitler Review", of course I get out of the background and then there are some "A-ha" moments. Three of them I am sharing here

This is not an environment for raising a young black girl. But when did it exist?
