In our culture, it is more difficult to identify real and amateur educational value about sports. The enthusiasm for the game, every aspect of the team, and the behavior of sportsmanship are deep values rooted in sports. It has become one of the most important ways to teach young people these values, unfortunately it has been easily forgotten. Throughout the semester, we carefully studied sports and examined their influence, role and importance in our American society today. The two foundations for observing the sports, critical and functionalist theories presented at the beginning of the semester laid the foundation for seeing other topics.
To better understand Americans' perceptions of the role and importance of sports in society and to evaluate their views on sports ethics and value, role models and desires, in 2010, the USADA had approximately 9,000 Americans We asked for investigation. The public, coaches are participating in Olympic and non-Olympic athletes and players' parents (eg community based, school based, informal). Sports brings many positive benefits to society. Most adults believe that sports provide a source of joy and pleasure (88%), reducing juvenile delinquency and crime (84%) and teaching precious lives. By strengthening the community, courses (80%) can gather people (76%). Three-fifths of adults think that they can increase the positive value of sports as a whole
As a society, Americans value sports and what they can offer. In general, they have a deep understanding of what bending or breaking rules means, and the majority using drugs to improve performance is an obvious ethical violation threatening today's campaign I agree with that. In addition, Americans believe that stimulating breaking the rules and overly emphasizing victory could pose a threat to sports, by bringing sports to too many people. Role models, especially coaches, can play an important role in maintaining the health and value of sports.
