In this brilliant book Philippe Rochat proposes an ecological approach to human development. He observes how the baby develops ability and conceptual understanding related to three interrelated domains, self, things, etc., by observing the situation occupied by ecological niches I will explain.

Over the past 50 years people have become more and more interested in the baby world. This resulted in a sudden increase in infant 's perception study, which improved infant' s knowledge.
