The Industrial Revolution began in the UK. Because in this small island country there are abundant resources besides a large number of workers. And industrial revolution - the process of developing machinery production - needs such resources. These natural resources include 1) replenishment of new machines with hydraulic power and coal, 2) iron ore construction machinery, tools and buildings, 3) inland river transports, and 4) ports from which merchant ships leave. Industrialization has expanded the gap between industrialized countries and non-industrialized countries despite strengthening economic ties. Due to the influence of industrialization in Europe, it is necessary for industrialized countries to obtain more raw materials. This led to the search for the colonies of these countries, which led to another era, an era of imperialism.

After the Vienna conference, Europe entered the Industrial Revolution. Since around 1980, the world has reached the technological revolution. As James Watt invented an improved steam engine to trigger the Industrial Revolution, this new technology revolution was also caused by microchip or computer inventions. With the development of digital technology, the influence of steam engine and computer on the world has many similarities. For example, steam engines allow people to move faster (train), radically reducing the world. In contrast, computers shrink the world through Internet communication and online business. Likewise, the steam engine increased the efficiency of the plant and created a new machine that did all these work, but led the digital technology to the next level.

Britain is the first country in the world to start industrial revolution. It was moved by population growth caused by the agricultural revolution and began in the mid-eighteenth century with the advent of sophisticated steam engines and factories. There are several advantages to the UK thanks to the massive human resources and natural resources, and the convenient transportation of water through rivers and canals. Metal industry and mining prospered, standardization and measurement of units were done. As the invention was further introduced in the 19th century, the Second Industrial Revolution further promoted the development of other industries like the textile industry.
