Importance of the dragon in Grendel and Beowulf "I was involved in many wars when I was young," Beowulf boasted to his soldiers, of course. In his life he faced many deadly enemies. His story focuses on the most challenging and morally important enemies, Glendell and the Dragon. These living things revealed many virtues about society and Christianity at the time. Even after Glendell and the body of the Dragon have been defeated, the two monsters bring a new threat to the main character on a higher plane.

In Beowulf, Beowulf is fighting against three different monsters. The first monster he fought was Grendel, the second was the mother of Glendell, and the third was the dragon. Each fight shows an important part of Beowulf. The struggle with Glendell shows his power, the struggle with the mother of Glendell shows his weakness, and the struggle with the Dragon showed his death and the birth of a new hero. The fight against Glendell shows the power of Beowulf. Glendel kills a lot of people, many of whom are devils trying to kill him. Everyone who tries to kill Glendel always wears armor and uses weapons. Beowulf said that he will not use weapons. I boasted that he was stronger than anyone. In the battle, Beowulf is said to be the strongest person in history. "The evil captain discovered that his possession was more difficult than he encountered anyone on the planet" (749-752)

Resentment and isolation seem to be shining in society, whether or not it is due to the age, appearance, emotional and psychological stability of the person. Throughout Glenn's lifetime, he was regarded as a kind of destruction and injury, he was avoided by humans. However, no one took time to see Grendel's true personality.
