The Importance of Art in School

When I was a high school student, I was very interested in art. I brought a band, a choir, and 2 years visual art. During high school, I know that the art course is far more expensive than other electives of my school. I also observed that schools pay more attention to their sports and academic programs than their art courses. We have a lot of fundraising events and we will collect more funds for the art curriculum even if we pay expensive fees for these elective subjects. School ignores visual art curriculum and puts all money into academic and physical education.

Some people think that the art taught at school (high school and high school) is enough to bring people into this creative world. I can not deny the overall importance of learning art at school, but another important aspect is that not all of this can be handed over from a class teacher to an art student. My motivation is that I have an artistic personality and I am the way to express myself, which is why I spent most of my time. I have never found an art community I desire, but this may be the most important aspect of attending art school. There are several online communities on Facebook and Google+, but they do not actually offer the kind of intimacy, criticism or attention I want. Finally, after reading Art & Fear I realized the relationship with art, and how I want art to exist in the world. Painting has aspects of meditation and you can use it to quote it in daily life other than painting.
