Schools should encourage everyone to pursue their interests and ideas. We should not review access to controversial topics and investigations. Everyone has the right to express their views both privately and publicly without fear of being punished. If parents do not agree with the content of the school, parents have the right to discuss their opinions and communicate with the school. Academic freedom and freedom of speech are very similar, but unless you do harm, you have the right to say whatever you want.
Term of office is the most important assurance of academic freedom, academic freedom is the basic principle of philosophical exploration. Regardless of the University of Wisconsin, University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, University of Wisconsin University of Wisconsin, and other UW system universities, the official committee of the American Philosophical Society regret attacks against academic freedom. We call on lawmakers, school administrators, and other campus administrators to work hard to restore lifelong standards accepted in the state of Wisconsin.
