Teddy Roosevelt changed forever with the policy of "talking quietly and hitting a big stick" in the United States. This policy is the arrival of the era of progress, and many people are striving to achieve social change and improvement. There is a reason to believe that the progressive movement has little impact on society. However, several amendments were passed between 1900 and 1920 through progressive presidents, awareness of factory situations, and activists trying to expand their rights. Progressive has a long-term impact on society, but it has no immediate impact.
10/08/12 The progressive movement of progressive reformers has a great influence on society and keeps the doctrine of democracies. The era of progress began between 1890 and 1920. It is for the desire to remove political corruption and inefficient progress. Progressive wishes to reduce the power of business trusts and to protect the general well-being of the people. Progressive names come from positive or "progressive" goals.
Prior to the era of progress (1890 - 1920), the American society was very different. As we know today, the federal government has little impact on civic life. For example, today there are laws that regulate the quality of most foods sold to US citizens, the wages paid to workers, and the working conditions exposed to American workers. Prior to the era of progress, food, living conditions, employment conditions were different. In 1911, a fire broke out in Triangle Shirtwaist, which occupies the 8th, 9th and 10th floors of a building in New York. The majority of employees are young women between the ages of 16 and 23. Many people on the ninth floor died as exporters and fire evacuation were locked by officials of the company and blocked. The company was innocent, but anger and compassion for this incident caused a law on dangerous working conditions.
