The Internet is becoming an indispensable tool for business, communication, and popular culture in many parts of the world. Computer Mediated Communications has extensive supporters and critics. Some people think that the Internet will completely change social interactions, others think that the Internet brings about privacy, loss of personal communication, and isolation. Others believe that the Internet will also be used as an educational tool to change the way public education is done. I believe the Internet is a neutral social structural tool with some positive potential. However, the phenomenal growth of the Internet is not without fear. What is especially relevant is the potential impact of Internet and computer media communication on the nature and quality of social interaction among young people in particular. In this paper, we analyze the influence of online communication on rituals of social exchange. As we grow we are focusing on the current online youth who will become a regular part of our daily lives and interactive ceremonies. Review of current research literature on online online interaction and educational use of the Internet shows that in the United States most young people are actively using the Internet as an important form of social interaction. In this article we will explore the positive and negative impacts of online youth using the Internet as a major means of social interaction and how it affects the development of their interactive ceremonial skills.

Web-based technologies create highly interactive platforms, through which individuals and communities share, create, discuss, and modify user-created content. They bring substantial and universal change in communication between organizations, communities and individuals.
