Marine biologists are scientists who study marine organisms or seawater. Some marine biologists deal with marine animals such as fish and whales, others study the life, microbial activity and habitat of marine plants. Marine biologists differ not only in the type of creatures they study but also on the way they work. Some observe or preserve activities on the fly, others work at the laboratory, others work in two different environments.
