The Idea of Li and Governing

Mencius is a manifest follower of Confucius teachings, looking at Li from another perspective. Mencius lived in the Sengoku period and saw the words and confusion of Confucius' battle. When the rulers insisted on power, Mensius tried to find the cause of confusion and the reason for confusion. Lee's Mencius account is almost the same as that of Confucius, but his Li is mainly related to human beings and internal struggle.

Li is made up of fathers, village chiefs, and appropriate social codes of conduct that government officials teach others. Lee's teaching will promote ideals such as filial piety, brotherly love, justice, honesty, loyalty. The influence of Lee leads the people's expectations such as loyalty to the boss and respect for the elderly in the area. Following the internalization of Li's behavior, he continues to emphasize the community not only to create traditional comfort but also to make people feel "more open to experience" (Rosemont 2005). But, it should also maintain healthy and selfless behavior in the actions themselves, or in appropriate examples for brothers. Community methods and personal methods show Lee's penetration into broad and detailed, good and evil, form and intangible everything. This is a complete realization of Li.

Confucius believes that the appropriate government is guided by the principle of Lee. Some Confucianities proposed the completion of human beings, and learning Li is an important part of this process. In general, Confucianism thinks that the government should emphasize Lee more and should not rely on punishment when they hold power. Confucius emphasized that these rituals are extremely important for the government's legal leadership. In his speech, Confucius believed that Chinese feudal lords considered Chinese rituals as rulers of the central state. On the contrary, the feudal lord who did not adopt these ceremonies is considered not to be civilized and it is not suitable for being regarded as part of China or the central nation (spring and autumn).

Ren and Li "Confucius of Confucius" considers Ren and Li as two ideals of Confucian ethics. I define Ren as the highest moral concept, and Li refers to rituals, rituals, and acceptable social norms. I think that by interpreting the relationship between li and renen as the third, I can make the text meaningful interpretation.
