Mencius is a manifest follower of Confucius teachings, looking at Li from another perspective. Mencius lived in the Sengoku period and saw the words and confusion of Confucius' battle. Confucius believes that the appropriate government is guided by the principle of Lee. Some Confucianities proposed the completion of human beings, and learning Li is an important part of this process. In general, Confucianism thinks that the government should emphasize Lee more and should not rely on punishment when they hold power. Confucius emphasized that these rituals are extremely important for the government's legal leadership. Ren and Li "Confucius of Confucius" considers Ren and Li as two ideals of Confucian ethics. I define Ren as the highest moral concept, and Li refers to rituals, rituals, and acceptable social norms.
