The Hunger Games (2012)

In the future of Destopia, Panem's totalitarian state can be divided into 12 districts and parliament buildings. Every year, two young representatives from all districts choose to participate in hunger games by lottery. Immediately after the release of the 2012 film "Hunger Games", a server plugin called "Hunger Games" (later changed to "Survival Game") was developed for Minecraft. Inspired by the movie, the survival game originally placed players in the center of the map near the equipment box. When Gary Rose was announced as a film director in 2010, he began working with Collins and senior author Billy Ray to turn the novel into reality.
