Scientists believe that hippocampus with frontal cortex is responsible for analyzing various sensory inputs before deciding to preserve information in long-term memory (Martin, 2007).

This theory is often called interference theory and focuses on human memory. Human memory is the process we encode, store and retrieve information. The brain participates in a complex process that begins with receiving or registering, receiving, processing, and a combination of information or stimuli. This information is saved or becomes a permanent record of information. Interference theory occurs when the learned information, memory, and thought conflict with new information and materials. It is difficult to try to access this information, and people often say "This is my tongue." This response is usually affected by learning speed and memory recall performance.

Working memory was proposed by Alan Baddeley and Graham Hitch in 1970. They think that there are four elements that make it possible to temporarily save words and visual spatial data in working memory and coordinate the preservation of materials.
