The Hooded Seal

Hooded seals can find 35 seals in the oceans around the world. They are found throughout the sea, from the polar water of the polar regions of the Arctic and Antarctic Polar to the warm tropical waters of the tropics. Just like whales and dolphins, seals adapt to the marine environment, streamline the body, limbs are changed to a layer of lean body used to insulate the fin and the necessary insulation. As I will explain in the thesis, they also have a special circulation system that allows them to maintain a long-term submersion while they eat.

Five types of seals take at least time in the Arctic Ocean. Bearded seals, ring seals, harp seals, cap seals and seal seals. A seal that grew a beard and became a circle spends its entire life in the Arctic Circle. Hooded and harp seals spend the summer at the North Pole, and seals occasionally adventure north to the North Pole. Beard seals (Erignathus barbatus) is the largest arctic seal, and most closely resembles a walrus. They are bottom feeders with outstanding beards. Phoca hispida is the smallest Arctic seal, the most common. They eat shrimp, krill, and other small crustaceans. Harp Seal (Phoca groenlandica) is a deeper diving seal that feeds on small fish. Young harp seals are cherished for their coat, which leads to hatred between sealers and environmentalists. Hooded seals (Cystophora cristata) have similar lifespan to harp seals, but can be distinguished by long noses that can be inflated to form "hoods".

Even seals belonged to 1,688 species affected. These numbers declined 90% in the past few decades as the local ice sea ice has drastically decreased and the place where the turnips are resting has increased. Common hippos and leatherback turtles are also affected by climate-related drought and high temperature. This analysis took place one month before the government, industry and representatives of NGOs hold the annual IUCN World Conservation Congress in Hawaii. The focus of the agenda is to identify sustainable ways to convert climate and development agreements, including the Paris Convention 2015, into conservation behavior.
