The History of the State of Mississippi

There are several interesting points in the history of Mississippi. Since the early 1900's, this history has truly drawn my attention. I am particularly interested in the progressive era of the early 1900s. In calendar life, illiteracy, apartheid and music talent are prevalent. By 1910, the arrival of motor sports began.
