Spaghetti does not start in the 13th century. A popular myth, pasta comes from the return of Marco Polo from China when he brought noodles to Venice. According to Serventi et al. (2003, p 211) This myth was born as a promotional policy of the United States in the Magcarni Daily of the 1920 's. In fact, pasta was born 4,000 years ago. According to a National Geographic article, a bowl of noodles stored in a land of 10 feet deep in the Laija remains was found (Roach, 2005).

It is difficult to track the history of pasta for several reasons. The word itself is Italian and means "paste". This is a reference to a dough made from a combination of flour and water or egg - all simple ingredients have existed for centuries. This makes pasta difficult to distinguish from other ancient dishes made from the same material. In addition, as pasta was always the food of ordinary people, it is not as worrying about more luxurious foods ... unfortunately it is one of the most popular food on the planet! Let's solve this problem by exploring pasta roots in the historical kitchen.

Studying the history of pasta dishes makes it clear that foods used as basic food in Italian diet are not necessarily so. Until the 16 th century macaroni (the term used for dried pasta) was considered an exotic food, and Italian home cooking pasta was thought to be very expensive. It is for the upper class only. However, since the 17th century, changes in the pasta industry have undergone dramatic changes with rapid industrialization and technological progress, eventually making pasta dishes a popular candidate in all classes. For this reason, Italians use pasta as an important part of everyday meals. After all, pasta diversity, distinctive flavor, and distinctive cuisine make Italian cuisine favorite all over Europe and the USA.

In the 4th lesson, we will focus on dry pasta. We learned about the history of pasta, how it developed, today is the standard in Italy, and then how to cook various forms of pasta perfectly.
