The History of Music

Historical music of Western music existed from the beginning, but since human beings first lived on this planet, we learned to communicate in a traditional way. Different cultures have their own specific way of communicating through music. Music is basically divided into two specific groups: Oriental music and Western music. Oriental music comes mainly from the east and India. Western music first appeared in Europe. Since the Middle Ages Western music has developed in many ways through its form, sound, and information.

In the West, most of the professor's music history includes the art of Western civilization, classical music. Normally, the history of non-Western culture music ("World Music" or "Ethnic Music") covering African and Asian music is also taught in Western universities. This includes classical traditions of Asian countries beyond the influence of Western Europe, and folk music of various cultures and indigenous music. The style of popular music and folk music in non-Western countries differ greatly between cultures and cultures, and also from time to time. Different cultures will have different instruments, techniques, singing style and musical usage. Music has been used for entertainment, ceremonies, rituals, religious purposes, and for practical and artistic exchanges.
