Pest (French, Lapheste) is a novel about a ductal epidemic written by Albert. Pest is in the Mediterranean town of Oran in North Africa. Dr. Bernard Lee is one of the heroes and he expresses it as an ugly town. The residents of Oran are bored with people who seem to be the most habitual life. The main focus of the town is money. In order to correctly understand the influence of plague and the historical traces left behind, we need to consider every aspect of society.
