The Hill-Burton Act

Some large-scale government initiatives aim to ease the uneven distribution of medical care between urban and rural areas and across income ranges. Hill Burton Act of 1946 did a lot of work to inject hospital funds into middle society but was criticized for its responsibility and neglect of regulations aimed at strengthening care of the poor. Affordable medical law also brought very necessary funds to local hospitals, including expanding Medicaid for about 9 million Americans.

From the beginning of 2010 until November 2014, 43 hospitals in rural areas were closed. Critics say the new law closed these hospitals. Many of these village hospitals were constructed using the Hill Burton Act of 1946 to raise medical services in rural areas. Several of these hospitals are resuming as other medical facilities, but very few have an emergency room (ER) or emergency medical center. Between January 2010 and 2015, one in four of the doctors in the emergency room stated that he saw a significant increase in patients, and nearly half of the patients showed a slight increase. Seven of the ten emergency physicians claim insufficient resources are available to respond to a significant increase in the number of patients. The biggest factor in increasing the number of ER patients is that primary care providers are not enough to handle more insurance patients.

Since 1946's Hill Burton Law, the government has funded new hospitals, including providing free or low cost medical services to hospitals to encourage concentration on their treatment, while closely monitoring these investments I did it.
