The Highwayman

The protagonist of this poem is the daughter of the unnamed Highwayman and landlord Bess. But there are other roles as well. How much can you find? One such occupation is robbery throughout Europe. People living on the road and "Kite's Road" live on horses and take coaches and vans in the form of swords and muzzles to passengers. Some are separate operations, some are group operations. The most successful are their charm, boldness, and - if the situation requires it - notorious for being malignant. The death of Orazio Melzi has room for doubt. The only witness was a person who died in the bushes after drinking a lot in one night.
