Corrie and Betsie ten Boom are middle-aged sisters who worked in the Dutch watch factory before the Second World War. With the arrival of the Nazis, their peaceful life was interrupted. They were suspected of hiding the Jews and found violations of the distribution rules and they were sent to concentration camps where their Christian faith saved them from despair and suffering. Betsy ended up dying, but Collie has survived and must learn to love and forgive her former kidnappers after the war. By Mark Hetler
"Hidden place" is a 1975 film based on the autobiography book of the same name of Corrie ten Boom about her and her family's experience before and during the Nazi concentration camp during World War II . The hidden place is overseen by James F. Collier. Janet Clift George has won the Golden Globe Award for the most promising newcomer - woman. The film was released on a limited edition on the same day and featured the last appearance of Arthur O'Connell. When Nazis invaded the Netherlands in 1940, Corey and her family allowed Jews to hide in parts of their homes. And it was changed specially by members of resistance in the Netherlands. But the Nazis eventually discovered that Corey and her family were hiding the Jews, and on February 28, 1944 all members of the family and their friends were arrested after betrayed by Dutch collaborators it was done. Corrie traveled all over the world as an ambassador for Christ's forgiveness and later founded a rehabilitation center to help other Holocaust survivors. Her 1971 autobiography "Hidden Places" became a movie in 1975 and encouraged many people to see that God works in the darkest part of his life.
