The Heidi Chronicles

Wendy Wasserstein's "Heidi Chronicles" made me very interesting until I missed the last page. I like how gender issues play a role of feminist goal in this drama. I think that they admire each other because both groups are striving to have equal rights among most people. For example, Peter began marching with other women of the Academy of Arts. This shows that he is working for the influence of other minorities in our society: women.

Heidi Chronicles is a feminist drama about working hard to find herself in the era when a woman named Heidi Holland changed. It started in 1989 when Heidi gave a lecture on the lack of female artists mentioned at the Columbia University Women's Art Classroom textbook and displayed them at the museum. This first thing lets you believe that she is confident, educated feminist, but the next scene is when she apparently did not understand a lot, her high school I will return to the times. Further abortion, choice to prevent unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, couple rape, sex education and contraception are just a few of ways women manage their lives and bodies. Women eventually get rid of social, economic and cultural barriers and get the full potential.
