It is one of two main texts that influence the philosophy and culture of India and Southeast Asia (1). This is a historically important epic, covering most of the ethical and religious teachings of Hindu culture through stories and lessons (2). In Mahabharata there is Bhagavad-Gita. It is in the middle of the epic and contains only about 700 clauses (3)
